Ellos piensan que fue por la guerra del 2002 y algunis la asocian a las guerras actuales, pero gente esta cancion la escribio Leon Gieco en 1978 y se canto en la epoca de la guerra de Las Malvinas (1982)

Hermosa versión, que recién descubro gracias a mi hija y a Martín Aguilera.
Es muy representativa de nuestra realidad humana en todas las épocas, las culturas y las comunidades: la realidad de los que estamos fuera de los círculos del poder; y somos sacudidos, una y otra vez, por temporales que nos azotan a diestra y siniestra sin que logremos "parar la pelota" y construír un entorno amigable donde envejecer y ver crecer en paz a nuestra descendencia.
Gracias por compartirla, y que sea una plegaria realmente sentida.

2026 y esta canción sigue siendo tan actual, tanto como cuando la compuso Leon Gieco (1978), como cuando estos chicos sacaron su versión. Es realmente triste.

This is a song composed for the Argentinian singer "Leon Gieco" in 1978, when Argentina was about to enter in War with Chile for the "Canal Beagle", a terriroty that the last dictatorship (1976-1983) use like a excuse for create a division between Argentines and Chileans because for this moment, the dictatorship was lost the national and popular support and this excuse was perfect for dominate the Argentine people, a similar case was the "Malvinas" war, in 1982, this song is a peace symbol in Argentina and in all the world.

Solo le pido a Dios por ver una Cuba libre!!

Soy chileno, el año pasado (2024), viajé a Mendoza con mi mujer,,, un día, almorzando en Aristide, un cantante callejero, entonó esta canción.... Se me llenaron los ojos de lágrimas, mi mujer no entendía qué me pasaba....
León compuso esta canción por la casi guerra en Argentina y Chile, esto sucedió en 1978..
Cuando yo tenía unos 19 años ( hoy tengo 61), tuve la fortuna de cerrar un festival folclórico en la localidad de Coya, en Chile, con mi guitarra, cantando esta canción.
Y un día, más de 40 años después, almorzando con mi mujer en Argentina,, escuchando a un cantante callejero, pensé en esos días, y en la desgracia que estuvo a punto de sucedernos a argentinos y chilenos.
Esta canción me llega al alma.
Saludos a mis hermanos argentinos, desde Machali,,, Chile.
