Throughout the +13 years of its existence, Solarstone's balearic überclassic 'Seven Cities' has moved literally millions of people. With its musical fire still burning bright, it now sees 4 brand new remakes come to life. Enjoy Solarstone's Pure re-touch, as well as remixes by Antillas & Dankann, rising talent Thomas Datt & newcomer Almar.
Richard Mowatt aka Solarstone is responsible for some of the biggest classics in EDM history. The UK producer/DJ didn't only bring us the seminal classics 'Solarcoaster, 'Like A Waterfall' and 'Jump The Next Train' plus more recent anthems 'The Spell', 'Fireisland' & 'Jewel; he's also one of the masterminds (together with Andy Bury) behind 'Seven Cities' - an all-time favourite that won't fade anytime soon.
For 2013, Solarstone himself has given it a #PureTrance upgrade - his 'Pure' Mix injecting that extra push of energy and bass-work. Italian producers Antillas & Dankann go full out on feel-good, giving it that playful stir of prog-house, without losing its original vibe.
Polish producer Thomas Datt on the other hand, kept his focus on the uplifting and trancey side of 'Seven Cities', providing a solid remix for the trance junkies - as does Romania's Almar who pulls no punches with his rousing, melodic mix.
Tracks:
1. Seven Cities (Pure Mix)
2. Seven Cities (Antillas & Dankann Remix)
3. Seven Cities (Thomas Datt Remix)
4. Seven Cities (Almar Remix)
5. Seven Cities (Antillas & Dankann Radio Edit)
6. Seven Cities (Thomas Datt Radio Edit)

50 synchronizedI raved in the mid 90's in Mexico and Germany and I can't believe I hadn't heard this mesmerizing MASTERPIECE! Brings me nostalgic happy memories. I have it on repeat❤ The best discovery in Trance!!!
052 years old.....but this tune never gets old 🥳🥳
1Why is it that the older I get the sadder this feels 😢❤
2I cry happy tears everytime...
Unvergesslich 😢
3Und immer lief dieses Meisterwerk...🙏❤️🙏
Who ever listens to this you're beautiful people.
27Imagine getting together, people in there 40s and 50s and just raving to this in our millions.
Trance will live forever
Hard to believe the original came out 27 years ago. Truly the golden era of trance.
82026 anyone?
159With all the troubles in the way, this one song is the safest place. The amalgamation of pure happiness with a realisation that juvenile people should just stop fighting about territory or differences in religions.
5Just embrace this brief period of 7 or 8 decades of existence most of us will experience.
I was riding on a Greyhound bus through the Nevada mountains the first time I ever heard this masterpiece....A friend had mixed a CD for me to listen to on my way back home from California. All I am going to say, is that when I was riding through the Nevada mountains, and listening to this sacred, and beautiful song, I had an experience with God that I cannot explain, other than it being totally euphoric.....
16A few friends and myself went to ibiza when this came out and danced to this on a beach as the sun started to rise. A true core memory. Sadly my best friend took hos own life and whenever i hear this i cry but also remember the fun we had. Miss you Phil.
11This is a masterpiece, a hidden gem. True trance lovers will know how good this song is 😊

8648 years old and still loving it. Nobody understands the era we raved through. True masterpiece.... heard it on a bbc 6 music rave segment. Not heard it for over 20 years. So euphoric......
227I just NEED to tell the world I was there 20 years ago when this music was my life. It still is. And that makes me both happy and sad because I’ll never have it this good again. Unless there is a heaven…
25The thing I fear most about death is not being able to listen to masterpieces like this anymore
65I was born in '84. Some tracks when I was growing up as a person just felt back then, AND KEEP CONFIRMING AS THE YEARS GO BY, as milestones in this artform that is trance music. This is one of them. The meaning keeps alive no matter how many years go by. I am just so very grateful that I got to experience this as I was growing up as a young teen and then a young adult and now it's like I've found all my life there has been these utterly beautifully reach parallelisms in these tracks for my life and my hopes for the future - it's almost unbelievable to imagine it was so deep so many years ago. Oh man, the joy of being a human and alive. Cheers all.
47The old classics never die
27Some trance classics like this are so powerful, they can almost make you cry. I remember that bit between 6:10 and 6:40 on the dancefloors, people not knowing what was gonna happen next, and that BANG, another huge melody, which sent the dancefloors wild & crazy, haha!! Oh it was good times indeed. 😍😃
58This is the beauty of trance, says more than all the words ever could
85What a tune I'm 47 and this is one of the best tunes of my days
19Going through a rough moment in life. This song is getting me through it
58I'm 41 years old and this still goes on every Friday. What a tune
259Solarstone is one of the most underested dj in the scene. The guy is just brilliant. What an epic tune
75This is what trance is about.. It awakens memories of better times.
361This tune is soundtrack to entering the heavens!
52One of the most beautiful trance tracks ever to be made.
25Jesus what a masterwork. Many people outside the Trance world will never understand it. This song will stand the test of time
910I would love to listen to this at 6 a.m being with some good friends ,closing party song near to the beach. The sun is coming up ,all of us jumping watching the life rising up and cheering to our fulllest.
120I listen to this song to remind myself that no matter what problems or challenges life throws my way everything will be okay!
78Arguably one of the finest trance tracks ever... so amazing x
199This was the tune I always listened to when the chemicals were rising. Absolutely without doubt the most beautiful trance tune ever made. can't make em like this anymore 😍
34anyone else get goosebumps every single time listening to this masterpiece? so many good memories
228This tune never fails to make me smile :)
268Trance in its best and purest form. And they expect EDM to replace this? I feel sorry for those who rate EDM.....
439I remember the first time i heard this song.... It was in the desert of Phoenix
599AZ, October of 1999... It was my first Rave ever... i'd been dancing all night, and was sitting around a fire with many of my new friends... the sun was just starting to rise and reach magical rays out across the sands, the light was reflecting on the freckled smiling face of a beautiful red headed girl i was snuggling with under a blanket by the fire.
It took me 10 years to finally hear it again, and figure out the name of the song.
I never knew her name, only her sweet kisses...
the problem with trance music like this is there is no word on this planet to describe it just what you feel inside your mind body soul and you will know pure energy that cant be described trance is the purest music out there nothing can come even close to it what do people listen these days just pure crap justin bieber come on what is happening to the world
286one of the best trance tunes ever created. Thank you Solarstone
